Cottage Cooking likes to share links to other cool businesses that our guests might be interested in learning more about. We’re an active couple and get outdoors often, so check back to see what we’ve found. We add them as we find them:
Explore Asheville: Asheville’s premier tourism resource.
No Taste Like Home: This eco tour company focuses on food foraging adventures. In fact, they are one of the largest foraging tour companies in the world.
New Belgium Brewing: This is one of our favorite breweries in Asheville. We love the location of their brewery on the French Broad River and use their beer in our “Cooking with Beer” class. It’s one of our most popular classes!
Highland Brewing: Asheville’s first brewing company, this place rocks. We’ve watched it grow and dig their commitment to quality, sustainability and simply making Asheville a better place. Oh- and the beer is great too! We use their Porter and IPA in our “Cooking with Beer” class.
Engadine Inn and Cabins: An Asheville country retreat located on 12 acres. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a special events venue.
Chop Wizard! We’re not big on gadgets, but we love this one!
Speaking of Travel: Marilyn Ball started Speaking of Travel as a way to incorporate her love of travel and adventure with a portal for great story telling from others who have unique travel stories. She is the host of the iHeart Media radio show, Speaking of Travel, broadcast each week on News Radio WWNC 570 and 880 The Revolution. And you can listen any time, anywhere in the whole world on your free IHeart Radio app.
Dog House Doggie Day Care: This is Asheville’s first licensed doggie day care, playland and social boarding facility. Our dogs love it! Yours will too!
Send2Press: Targeted press release distribution and professional press release writing services since 1983.
Asheville Glamping: Unique and glamorous camping offerings in Asheville.
Edible Musings: Healthy, nutrient-rich and delicious recipes.
